It's late, and I'm tired. 2.30am and for better or worse I've just put up the new version of Putty Puzzle. It has:

- 18 Levels - 6 of which are optionally tutorials (frank will help you out if you ask).
- Instructions Page
- Lots of bug fixes
- Some usability fixes
- A few new level features
- Undo during the level
- Undo, restart and quit visible options

No apologies for bugs and/or typos. I've still got a lot of work to do. Thanks to the people who contributed levels.

There doesn't seem to be any

There doesn't seem to be any way to pass level 12! I've beaten all the other boards, but not 12. Is this a glitch? If not, please provide hints!

Great game by the way!

Kev: I can tell you that all the levels are completeable :) Theres quite a few hints on rockpapershotgun.com

good work fella - thought

good work fella - thought some were impossible - but got there in the end - need some new levels now ;-)

Ahh, the infamous sticky

Ahh, the infamous sticky spikes. There is a solution on RPS, but it is referenced as an earlier version when it was not level 12, nothing has changed in the level itself though.

@kev:
It might be a good idea to put in a level which is specifically designed to teach people about the concepts which seem to cause a problem for people in this level, namely weight of 1 doesn't cause breakable blocks to break and more importantly (as I think this is the part that really stumps people here) that you can detach putty to make smaller putty blobs. I think because this is really one of the only times that the concept is used (and it comes almost immediately after the putty merging) that people aren't really getting it.

Kev: There is a level that teaches both detach and crumbling blocks on the first row (if you ask frank for help that is). Saying that it's a balancing act between making it easy to understand but challenging. Most people seem to be getting there in the end - and the normal "doh! thats so obvious when I see it" is a good sign I think.

I couldn't see the level

I couldn't see the level where you taught detaching in the first line, at least I didn't see one where it was needed to complete the level. Here's a level I knocked up to teach the concept entitled "Mind The Gap". With a little fleshing out maybe it could even become a level in the full game? ;)

Is level 16 chanced? I

Is level 16 chanced? I solved it before by getting green and blue on the middle level. But that seems no longer possible. So either I got stupid over the last too week or the level as chanced. Either way I just like to know

Kev: It's changed, the old version was way too easy ;)

ah thanks, now that ik don't

ah thanks, now that ik don't focus on get them both up there i solve it in seconds. it is one of mijn fav now.

I finally finished all 36

I finally finished all 36 levels! Very nice puzzle. Cute, intuitive (once you get your head around it), and tricky. Stairway to Heaven took me the longest.

I did discover a few physics bugs. They all seemed to be when two blocks in C shapes were supporting each other, and one of them was supported by a solid wall as well: they'd both drop off the screen, through each other. Something like this (where # is wall and 1-2 are blobs of putty):

___11__
####122
___1112
_____22

It doesn't happen without the bottom-left square of 2, which I think is confusing the game into thinking 2 is supporting 1 rather than hanging onto it.

I saw something interesting:

I saw something interesting: a blue putty overlapping with a white one. I will send you the picture.
